What is your occupation?

I’m a corporate lobbyist for a global FinTech company.

How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?

My body before TKN was relatively soft around the middle, with some excess around the top of my hamstrings/tie-ins, and my arms weren’t as toned.

How did that (state of being) make you feel?

That made me feel like I didn’t look my best in the clothes I have and that I wasn’t putting my best foot forward in all of the professional interactions I have. I also didn’t like feeling like my husband might be less attracted to me because I was getting soft.

What were you unable to do that you wished you could do?

My weight didn’t impair me from any activities.

During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?

It affected my husband the most because I would complain about how I looked or change clothes three or four times before going to places because I didn’t like how I looked. I also was less disciplined with my alcohol intake which also ultimately impacted my friends because we all made poor drinking and eating choices together.

How did you hear about Trevor Kashey Nutrition?

I heard about TKN through Gym Launch.

What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?

I was nervous before starting the program that the 12 weeks would feel especially long and that I would be hungry all the time because of the restriction in calories compared to what I had been eating.

What made you say YES anyways?

I said yes anyway because my husband asked me to be involved for him, and we knew we would be more successful as a team.

Where is your body/mind now?

I like having the structure of setting a weekly macro target and being accountable to that. It’s not difficult to plug in all the numbers into MFP, and there’s a helpful sense of accountability that I feel in tracking everything I decide to feed myself with.

 

It also makes me more creative with proteins and vegetables, and I really appreciate the carbs that I get; I try to enjoy the carb meals like oatmeal in a more meaningful way.

How does that make you feel?

It makes me feel like I have a lot more control over my decisions and a lot more flexibility in how I choose to divvy up my macros each day.

What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before?

I like wearing tank tops better now!

What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?

My workout partners have seen the difference in my body overall and are motivated to make their own positive changes to their nutrition.

What would you tell someone who is reading this right now and is unsure about taking the next step?

The knowledge that you gain through this program is something that you carry with you from this point forward. It gives you so much control! I know that if I start slipping in the future, I can set macro targets a little lower than what I was eating, and I will lose the weight.

 

Additionally, we are blessed to live in a country and a period of time in which food supply is relatively abundant, but that doesn’t mean we should indulge in everything that’s available!

 

This program helps you really evaluate the food you’re eating and if you go over your target, you just adjust to the next meal. It removes the judgment and see-sawing that I believe a lot of other nutrition programs unfortunately imbed into their regimens.

How likely are you to recommend TKN to a friend?

I would definitely recommend TKN!
