Feeling Stuck? Finally Get Results From Your Hard Work
Learn How Product Manager Hillary H. Feels Better Mentally and Physically After Seeing Her Results With TKN.
What Is Your Name?
What is your occupation?
I manage product and partner relations for a financial technology company.
How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
My body before TKN was a little bit of “she probably works out” but a lot of “she probably likes food a lot” too.
How did that (state of being) make you feel?
I was frustrated because I wanted to show off my hard work from the gym and the progress I have been slowly making over the last 5 years on my exercise journey, but also secretly guilty because the time and energy I put into the gym wasn’t nearly enough “work” to give me the results I wanted/expected/secretly hoped for.
What were you unable to do that you wished you could do?
I lacked the ability to tighten control of my diabetes, and really any aspect of my life. The smallest things derailed me and would cause me to spiral.
During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?
I was not the positive and forward-thinking person I am today. I was the victim of my circumstances and honestly, I felt like crap a lot of the time so I acted like crap a lot of the time.
How did you hear about Trevor Kashey Nutrition?
TKN was recommended to me by Sam and Mickey.
What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?
I rejected the thought of regimented change. I feared failure, and at the same time, I feared success without a path towards sustainability.
What if I completed the program and it “didn’t work” or I failed to complete the program, or worse, I completed the program and it did work and I was able to lose weight and conquer the world but it was too hard and I gave up later.
I didn’t want to put in the effort because it would be hard and there were already too many hard things going on in my life.
What made you say YES anyways?
I sat down and had a hard conversation with myself and knew this was something I needed to do. I could no longer pretend that what I was doing was working and I realized my self-improvement needed guidance because if I was already able to handle my nutrition myself, I wouldn’t be in the situation I was before TKN.
Where is your body/mind now?
My mind and body are actually on a journey now. Coming from a place of stagnation I can proudly say that I am going somewhere and on a path of progress. I am overall in a better mood, I feel better mentally and physically and actually seeing results from the REAL hard work I put in.
How does that make you feel?
My new attitude towards myself and my life makes me feel awesome. I have always been a realist looking outward but I never really gave myself too much thought, I was majorly in denial and now I feel like I have the skills and abilities to be critical of myself and use the data to make improvements.
What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before?
I am now able to understand how to fuel my body for all of its needs, whether that be exercise, daily life, or fueling my ability to have fun and relax.
What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?
I’m not so much of an asshole anymore. I’m not stressed out as much and can live my own life without secretly blaming others for my circumstances.
I am overall happier and my friends and family are proud of me for making decisions that have a positive impact on my life. Taking care of my own needs has also allowed me to be a cheerleader and support for other people in my life. You can’t pour from an empty cup, after all.
What would you tell someone who is reading this right now and is unsure about taking the next step?
There is no downside to working on yourself.
How likely are you to recommend TKN to a friend?
I have already recommended TKN to friends and family and will continue to do so.
