What Is Your Name?

Lauren B.

What is your occupation?

I am a financial analyst.

How was your body before Trevor Kashey Nutrition?

My body before TKN was puffy and bloated. I was having lots of stomach issues and not happy with where my weight was trending.

How did that (state of being) make you feel?

That made me feel irritable and not happy with myself and my body image.

What were you unable to do that you wished you could do?

I was unable to feel happy looking at myself in a mirror.

During that time, how did your current state of being affect those around you?

It affected those around me because I would get irritable and upset about my body weight.

How did you hear about Trevor Kashey Nutrition?

I heard about Trevor Kashey Nutrition from my boyfriend who was a client.

What were your doubts and fears before starting the program?

My doubts and fears before starting the program were letting my eating disorder reappear by tracking and counting calories again.

What made you say YES anyways?

I said yes anyway because what I was doing wasn’t working for me and I thought tracking macros would help my mental start eventually.

Where is your body/mind now?

My body is not exactly where I wanted it to be but the biggest change has been my mindset and making tracking macros and calories a healthy way to track my weight instead of an unhealthy way. Before the challenge, the last time I stepped on a scale was probably 5 years ago. I used to use the scale as an unhealthy and controlling way to look at my weight.

How does that make you feel?

It makes me feel good that I have been able to make a mental change in how I view food and calories and I am working to fight the bad voice in my head every day.

What are you able to do now that you were not able to do before?

Get on a scale every single day and use the scale as data to analyze instead of validation of myself.

What positive impact did that have on others around you that you might not have expected?

I’ve been quarantining for most of the challenge (haha) but I think it has helped my anxiety around food and I think my boyfriend can see that as well. I think it has impacted him to see that I can have a healthy mindset with food and not feel miserable when I eat something “bad”.

What would you tell someone who is reading this right now and is unsure about taking the next step?

Just do it. I failed many times during this challenge. I had days where I didn’t track and days where I went completely off my macros. But not once did I feel punished or upset. My coach made sure we got back on track the next week and continued to move forward. The mental shift this program has had already has been amazing. No matter where you are in your journey, you will learn something new to better reach your goals.

How likely are you to recommend TKN to a friend?
